RSM forms collaborative relationship with COBB

Over the past three decades, we have enjoyed a friendly competitive—and often times collaborative—relationship with the good folks at COBB Marketing & Communications. Recently, our two companies have entered into a more formal arrangement and are sharing space in our offices here at 652 White Avenue in Grand Junction.

Both firms will continue to operate as separate, independent companies. RSM is not buying COBB or vice versa, and neither firm is closing its doors. On the contrary, through this new collaborative arrangement we can both offer a more robust suite of marketing, advertising, public relations and creative services, all under one roof.

While our strength lies in brand development, marketing strategies and creative services in traditional media, COBB is more focused on digital marketing solutions, website development and social media integration. T.J. Elbert, who purchased COBB from long-time owner Teri Cavanaugh last year, is a bright young man with extensive experience in the world of digital marketing and maturity beyond his years. Having easy access to the complementary expertise of each other will make both companies more nimble, more responsive, and better positioned to provide the full range of services you need to grow your business.

This is, admittedly, an unusual move. But we’re excited about the opportunities this collaborative partnership is going to provide RSM, COBB, and especially our clients. You will notice no real changes except that, when appropriate, we may bring T.J. and his team in to assist with digital components of your marketing campaign. And we will be rebranding our White Avenue building as “The Idea Factory” to better support our collaboration.
